What is your favourite thing about Darwin?

Darwin has its own island which you can have BBQs on.

Describe your College’s atmosphere

The lack of hierarchy in College between students, fellows and College officers adds another dimension to the variety of acquaintances that you can expect to meet during your time at Darwin. The College gardens create a very friendly environment and have been responsible for many a longer-than-anticipated lunch in College.

What is the accommodation like?

The accommodation is generally very good, though not the cheapest of all the colleges.

What about entertainment and extra-curricular activities?

The College's strength is its social life. In times when other colleges will be almost deserted, Darwin will still be a hive of activity since graduate students do not follow the termly routine of undergraduates. Most of the Darwin accommodation is in or very near to College which makes it easy to become involved in College life, be that through music, drama, sports or pints of beer!
